Come and join us for an afternoon of creativity and dipping our hands into an array of natural colour. We will be experimenting with the bundle dye technique, creating texture by placing our homegrown dye plants and flowers onto fabric, and then steaming them to release colour. This is a playful technique that will get you excited about natural colour and seeing where we can find it.
You will dye a cotton square (50x50cm) and a few ribbon lengths so you can wrap your favourite gifts to those nearest and dearest to you, with in mind that you can re-use or re-purpose these pieces again and again.
All materials will be provided for you, just bring yourself and bear in mind things might get slightly messy, so an old shirt or apron is advised.
Please note all flowers used will be dried for winter use.
Limited spaces available. We need to have a certain amount of sign ups to go ahead with this workshop. Unfortunately unless we can fill your space this is non-refundable.
